“We will be using existing entities in the Detroit proper area and the organizations already producing mutual aid efforts to showcase and draw exposure. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is show where help is needed.”

“We are looking at partnering with Freedom House, a shelter for refugees in Detroit, to see how our skills/resources can best be used to support the shelters’ existing work and resident needs.”

“As a group of women and non-binary athletes we are invested in creating spaces for people of any gender to enjoy soccer. As players in the local Women’s Plus organization, we plan to fly and expand access to free or low-cost soccer for women and non-binary players.”
